Chef Ray Wilson

Chef Ray Wilson founded the food truck in 2016, and it quickly gained a reputation for its unique, delicious dishes and excellent customer service. What started as a food truck soon grew into a permanently and physical location called “Ray’s Chicken Kitchen” located within the Parlor in Automobile Alley, that you can visit everyday from 10:30 AM – 9 PM (except Mondays).

Decades of restaurant experience, including opening three of his own, have championed Chef Ray Wilson’s culinary passion for locally sourced ingredients and his simple delicious fried chicken menu.

What’s Good On The Menu?

Chef Ray’s Street Eats quickly became a hit with locals and visitors alike. Chef Ray’s menu includes everything from classic street food staples like tacos and burgers to more unique offerings.

If it’s your first time and you’re not sure what to get, we recommend trying Chef Ray’s “Famous” Fried Chicken.  Or go for the “chicken and scratch-made waffles” that you’d normally find at the fair. If you want something with a little kick, another great option is the spicy “Nashville Hot Chicken”. 

You can also enjoy your lunch a little more knowing that he only uses the highest quality of ingredients, and poultry that has never been given hormones or antibiotics.
