Humble Beginnings of Picasso Café

Picasso Café first opened its doors in late 2009. Picasso Café and the other room are the result of collaborative ideals. They aimed to create an ambiance that was distinctively indicative of our convivial personalities and the corresponding characteristics we hold in such high regard. Picasso Café arose from a shared desire: to experience the communion of food and connection with one another around the table.

Their mission is to enrich the quality of life in Oklahoma City by providing high-quality, nutritious food; treating customers as if they were guests in their own home; sourcing local ingredients and supporting artisans; fostering a love of food and libations; using creativity to benefit the community; and ultimately making people happy.

The Picasso Café, situated in Oklahoma City’s Paseo Arts District, has a reputation for excellent food and a pleasant atmosphere. They offer customers the chance to sample tantalizing American dishes, wines and spirits at very reasonable prices.

The eatery is located in a vibrant area that dates back to the 1920s, making it an ideal spot for locals who want to dine out. The kitchen is run by one of their own and they also source fresh ingredients from local vendors and farms – supporting their local economy in the process.

The Other Room

Picasso Café is an atypical café that features The Other Room, a chill bar adjacent to it. Customers can enjoy the same Picasso Cafe menu items offered at half-price for appetizers throughout the day, plus homemade pretzels!

The Other Room (also known as ‘T – O – R’) has its own cocktail list containing sparkling wine from the tap, refreshing seasonal frozen drinks and a variety of local craft beers that change regularly.

You can either keep it private or invite your friends, as they offer both small and large booths, as well as communal seating options. Outside, you’ll find an all-weather terrace with heaters and fans to enjoy in any season.
