Café Cuvée

Home to some of the best French food in OKC, Café Cuvée is a hidden gem located inside the Ambassador Hotel in the heart of Midtown. This cozy café is known for its authentic recipes, homemade pastries and sandwiches, and a warm, inviting atmosphere.

Whether you’re looking for a place to catch up with friends or simply take a break from your busy day, Café Cuvée is the perfect spot. In this article, we’ll take a closer look at what makes Café Cuvée stand out and why it’s worth a visit.

The Beginning of Café Cuvée

In 2014, the Ambassador Hotel Oklahoma City opened its 1st-floor space for a restaurant called Viceroy Grille. It was more than a hotel restaurant and achieved great success. The team decided to give the city something new, so they replaced Viceroy Grille with Café Cuvée, a French bistro that would provide an enjoyable atmosphere.

On August 18th, 2018, this vision became reality and Café Cuvée began welcoming customers. The name is derived from “cuvée,” (pronounced koo-VAY) which signifies the best of the best. This not only applies to their wine selection but also their cuisine and service.

Café Cuvée Gourmet Menu

Led by the guidance of renown Chef Kurt Fleischfresser and Chef Gayland Toriello, this is one of the best neighborhood restaurants in Midtown OKC. Café Cuvée is a casual, romantic bistro that offers authentic French cuisine for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch in an inviting atmosphere.

It’s more than just a neighborhood restaurant or French-style bistro; it’s a destination that transports diners from Midtown to France through a spectacular journey. Begin your morning at Café Cuvée with a delicious omelet or crepe, paired with fruit and pastries. Their continental breakfast features a pastry cart, omelet station, and espresso bar.

Or you can stop in for lunch to savor the Croque monsieur sandwiches and French onion soup. At dinnertime, you might enjoy the pan-seared salmon, savory escargot, or tuna niçoise delicacies.

Alternatively, you can also try their Boeuf Bourguignon: beef short rib braised in red wine and veal stock reduction served with roasted baby potatoes and seasonal vegetables. Finish the meal off with a rich soufflé!  – so say oui to this amazing fare!
