Best Bars in Midtown OKC
The Midtown District in Oklahoma City is home to a thriving bar scene, with options ranging from cozy pubs to rooftop bars with a view. The R&J Lounge and Supper Club
The R&J Lounge & Supper Club offers a unique blend of classic glamor and modern dining. The menu includes dishes inspired by the 1950s and 1960s, providing customers with a delightful supper club experience. All aspects of this establishment are rooted in mid-20th century concepts, providing patrons with nostalgic flavors. Most people enjoy the atmosphere, but claim it can feel a little cramped in smaller spaces. However, if you don’t like a big open room, you just may enjoy the cozy setup.
They are open from Monday to Sunday from 2 PM to 2 AM.
Sidecar Barley & Wine Bar
Sidecar Barley & Wine Bar can be found in 2 locations in OKC, but the one closest to Midtown is located just down 10th street in Automobile Alley inside the Historic Pontiac Building where it originally started. When the weather is nice, you may see the walls open up for an indoor/outdoor experience. The patio is one of my favorite places to sit, and I especially enjoy the firepit. Along with the relaxing atmosphere, you can enjoy their extensive beverage selection including the usual bar drinks, but their specialty cocktails are truly something special. The Old ‘Smokey’ Fashion and Maker’s Mann-hatty cocktails are made with rye whiskey and created by a mixologist who “smokes” the glass over lit cedar.
They are open daily from 11 AM to 1 AM.
Twisted Spike Brewery and Tap Room
Twisted Spike Brewing Company is an essential part of Oklahoma City’s thriving beer culture. Their taproom offers 24 taps of drinks to suit the tastes of any beer enthusiast, ranging from light and zesty to robust and complex. The brewing team is always striving to create new brews or refine old ones, while the accompanying Mexican-inspired food menu provides a delicious complement. In addition beer, they have a good selection of board games and darts so you’ll have something to do while sipping on your drinks.
The bar is open from Monday to Thursday from 4 PM to 10 PM, Friday to Sunday 12 PM to 12 AM
Ludivine
Reserve a seat at Ludivine, a cozy eatery you can also find in Midtown. Featuring a rotating selection of dishes based on the ingredients provided by local farms and ranches, this American French restaurant not only provides customers with an exceptional dining experience but also has a cocktail lounge in the back where talented bartenders can craft drinks tailored to your preference. Oh, and if you’ve never tried bone marrow, don’t leave without giving this house favorite a taste.
They are open daily from 11 AM to 2 AM.
Kong’s Cantina & Chill
Groove to the live music when you visit Kong’s Cantina & Chill. Be sure to indulge in scrumptious Latin fare alongside a selection of 17 refreshing Latin craft cocktails. And you don’t want to miss their incredible Birria tacos, Mexican pizza, or famous milkshakes!

Louie’s Grill & Bar
Head to Louie’s Grill & Bar in Midtown for a casual American dining experience and an array of budget-friendly lunch and dinner items. The atmosphere is inviting, with flat screens everywhere so you can grab a bite and watch the Thunder game or college football with your friends. Request seating on the patio for some fresh, which faces Walker Avenue right in the middle of the action. And if you’re a medical professional with a valid I.D., be sure to take advantage of your 25% discount on all food and non-alcoholic drinks at this location.
Louie’s Grill & Bar is open daily from 11 AM to 1 AM.
O Bar
If you want a view to go along with the atmosphere, then you’ll want to check out O Bar in Midtown. Located on the seventh floor of the Ambassador Hotel, you can catch some stunning sunsets that overlook the city while enjoying a range of craft cocktails, local beer and wines, as well as contemporary bistro cuisine. You can also enjoy a classy night on the town like a boss while enjoying something from the cigar menu.

Fassler Hall
If you’re in Oklahoma City and looking for a taste of German flavors, Fassler Hall is the perfect place.
