Star Show Programs
“Journey Through the Cosmos”
Audience interaction is key for interstellar travel! Taking a tour around the solar system, gazing up at the stars, and seeing distant galaxies are just some of the things you can do during this live presentation. With no two trips being exactly the same, you can pick your own adventure and have an “out-of-this-world” experience. This program is presented in Spanish at 3 PM every first Sunday and last Saturday of every month.
“Planetarium Spotlight”
This is a presenter’s choice, so sit back and relax while the planetarium educators provide new content and a range of specialized shows. Use your spirit of adventure to explore the mysteries of astronomy. This show may be both a live presentation with a discussion and pre-recorded footage.
“Forward to the Moon”
The Artemis project is NASA’s plan to return astronauts to the moon. Its sister project, Apollo, was responsible for first sending humans to the moon. Artemis will allow us to stay on the moon and pave the way for future exploration and colonization of Mars. The program “Forward to the Moon” provides a comprehensive overview of Artemis and the technology involved.
“Two Pieces of Glass”
The telescope has allowed humanity to get its first look at the true nature of the universe. With modern technology, we are able to explore even further and uncover new mysteries about what lies beyond our world. From simple designs to more complex ones, telescopes continue to be an important tool in helping us understand the universe.
